Check compatibility
You can upgrade to OS X El Capitan from OS X Snow Leopard or later on any of the following Mac models. Your Mac also needs at least 2GB of memory and 8.8GB of available storage space.
Oct 06, 2015 I had some Apple Keychain issues after upgrading to Mac OS X El Capitan yesterday. Apple provided a reasonable resolution (blow away the login Apple Keychain and re-create it). As it turns out, my issues weren’t limited to just the El Capitan upgrade. The Juniper Networks’ VPN client, Junos Pulse, has some pretty awful issues. Subscribe to DevOps'ish! DevOps, Cloud Native, Open Source. To download the correct version of Junos Pulse, you must know if you are running a 32-bit or 64-bit version of Windows. Go to Start and choose Control Panel. Once in the control panel, click System and Security, then choose System (if your Control Panel view is by Category), or choose System (if your Control Panel view is all settings).
Whenever I attempt to start a VPN Connection with Junos Pulse (Version 5.0.11) on El Capitan it freezes midway through connecting and my login keychain becomes inaccessible to any other apps. The only way I've found to restore my keychain and restart Pulse is to restart.
Dec 07, 2015 Native screen res: 1920 x 1200 (early 2009) Running 10.11.1 El Capitan Connection: VPN from home to work over Junos Pulse Secure. Ping shows an average round-trip time of 24 ms. With El Capitan beta 2, Junos Pulse is broken. The connection settings disappear and when I try connecting, it says 'Failed to connect to the Juniper Unified Network Service'. When I look at the system log file, I find this: Jun 23 19:58:30 tw-mbp13-slee Junos Pulse14030:.NSThread initWithTa.
